Cycling in and around Zandvoort

Zandvoort lies between two large dune areas, the national park to the north and the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen to the south.

• National park to the north: cycle paths run through National Park Zuid-Kennemerland to Bloemendaal and Overveen.
• Waterleidingduinen: cycling is not allowed in the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen, but along its edge you reach the entrances for a walk.
• Around the circuit: the Circuit Park Zandvoort lies on the north side of the village, close to the dunes.
• Hire and routes: rent a bike from the bike hire and find the cycling routes and nature reserves below.
• Prefer to walk? Take a look at the walking routes or ride to the beach.

3 Cycling routes

The cycling routes around Zandvoort run through the dunes, along the coast and towards Haarlem.

• Through the Kennemerduinen: ride through the Kennemerduinen to Visitor Center De Kennemerduinen, a good starting point for a tour of the national park.
• Coastal route: the national LF1 coastal route passes through Zandvoort and follows the coast towards Bloemendaal aan Zee and Noordwijk.
• Junctions: the cycle junction network makes it easy to plan your own loop.
