Formula E Zandvoort 2027

After saying goodbye to Formula 1, Zandvoort welcomes a new top series: the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship comes to the circuit in the dunes for the first time on 18 and 19 June 2027. It is a double-header weekend in the first season of the new GEN4 car.

What can you expect at Formula E in Zandvoort?

• Two races: Rounds 14 and 15 of the championship are held on Friday and Saturday.
• New race format: A weekend features a classic 45-minute E-Prix with a mandatory Pit Boost and a shorter 30-minute sprint, the E-PrixUnleashed.
• GEN4 car: The new electric race car has up to 600 kW of power (over 815 hp) and all-wheel drive, making it the fastest Formula E car yet.
• Strong field: Manufacturers such as Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan, Citroën, Mahindra, Lola and newcomer Opel battle for victory.
• Circuit in the dunes: The undulating track with its banked corners is within walking distance of the beach and the town centre.
